Offshore wind energy is an important part of clean energy, and the adoption to generate electricity will contribute implementation carbon peaking neutrality goals. The combination fractional frequency transmission system (FFTS) direct-drive turbine generator be beneficial development offshore power industry. use in FFTS electrical but it also lead increase volume weight generator, which unfavorable for generation. Improving torque density can effectively reduce generators. vernier permanent magnet machine (VPM) operates on magnetic flux modulation principle has merits high density. In field electric machines, based been proved its feasibility weight. However, low-speed machines high-power generation, there are still few related researches. Therefore, this paper studies application generators, mainly analyzes influence different pole ratios pairs draws some conclusions provide reference design
